De'Longhi Portable Air Conditioner Error Codes — Complete List
De'Longhi Pinguino portable air conditioners show two-letter messages rather than numbers. HL or Ft means the internal tank is full, Lt is the frost protection pausing the unit, and PF is a failed probe. Only the first needs anything from the owner, and it is a two-minute drain.
- HL (Ft) HL (or Ft) on a De'Longhi portable air conditioner means the unit is full of water and has to be drained.
- Lt Lt on a De'Longhi Pinguino means "Low Temperature" — the frost protection has paused the unit, and it restarts by itself after defrosting.
- PF PF on a De'Longhi Pinguino means "Probe Failure": a probe is damaged, and De'Longhi says to contact customer service.

De'Longhi's Pinguino Extreme page also lists Lh (low humidity in Real Feel mode) and FI/F2, which go to an authorised service centre. Messages vary across the Pinguino range, so check your model's manual.
