Insignia is Best Buy's house brand, and its high-efficiency top-load washers use a simple E-code set with defined timeouts: E1 when filling takes too long, E2 when draining does, E3 when the lid isn't sensed as closed. • E1 Your Insignia washer didn't fill in time — E1 means over 30 minutes to fill, or the level not changing for five minutes, almost always a supply-side problem.
