Farberware Dishwasher Error Codes — Complete List
Farberware's countertop and portable dishwashers show E-codes for water faults — E1 when water doesn't arrive in time, E4 when the base-pan flood sensor detects an overflow or leak. The verified guides below take the safe checks first, and treat E4 as Farberware's manual does: shut off the water before going further.
- E1 Your Farberware countertop dishwasher didn't fill in time — E1 is the water-intake ('longer inlet time') fault, usually a tap, faucet adapter, or hose issue.
- E4 Your Farberware dishwasher sensed water in its base pan — E4 is the anti-flood/overflow trip, so turn off the water and dry the base pan before restarting.
Don't see your code?
These compact dishwashers connect to a kitchen faucet through an adapter, the first thing to check on a fill fault. Other E-codes (heating, sensor) appear on some models; for anything not listed here, your model's use-and-care manual is the authority.
