Bosch Oven Error Codes — Complete List
Bosch ranges and wall ovens report faults through small letters and numbers that look scarier than they are. Several of these codes carry a documented owner reset — clean the panel, cut power for the timed wait, retry — that clears real-world faults surprisingly often.
- E11 E11 is the touch-control code — the panel read something it didn't expect, and condensation on a cold panel is the classic trigger. Dry it, power-cycle, retry.
- e005 e005 is a communication fault between the range's user interface and its power board. The five-minute breaker reset is the documented first step.
- e011 e011 is the touch-sensor fault on the oven control panel. Bosch's path: clean and dry the panel, breaker off five minutes, then test.
- E100 E100 is the range's general electronics-fault message. Run the documented five-minute breaker reset once — persistent E100 belongs to a technician.
- e101 e101 is the temperature-sensor fault — the oven's probe isn't reading correctly. Bosch's steps: verify the power cord connection, then run the five-minute reset.
- e126 e126 flags the door lock, and it usually shows with Self Clean. Bosch's fix: cancel Self Clean, wait for the unlock, restart it.
