Haier Washer Error Codes — Complete List

Haier washers split into two styles. Portable top-loaders use dO (shown as E0 or E2) for an open lid and dd during the spin, while the combination washer/dryer uses Err5 for a fill problem and Err2 for a drain problem.

• dO (E0, E2) Your Haier portable washer thinks the lid is open — dO (shown as E0 or E2 on some units) is the lid-switch code, so it won't spin until the lid reads closed.
• dd Your Haier washer flagged dd during the spin — it's the out-of-balance code, cleared by spreading the load evenly and levelling the machine.
• Err5 (Err 5) Your full-size Haier washer didn't fill to level in time — Err5 is the fill fault, usually a closed tap, a kinked hose, or a clogged inlet filter.
• Err2 (Err 2) Your Haier washer couldn't pump out in time — Err2 is the drain fault, raised when the tank doesn't empty within the program's drain window, usually a blocked filter or hose.
