Pick the code your Fisher & Paykel appliance is showing. Each page explains what the code means, the most likely causes ranked by probability, and which fixes are safe to try before calling a technician.
Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher Codes
- F1 F1 on a DishDrawer is the flood-switch code — the machine has detected water where it shouldn't be, and it will keep beeping until it's dealt with.
- F3 F3 on a DishDrawer flags a temperature-sensor fault — and a very hot incoming water supply is the one cause you can check and fix yourself.
- F4 F4 on a DishDrawer points to the heating side — the water isn't reaching temperature. Beyond one reset, the element or sensor needs a technician.
- U1 U1 is the DishDrawer fill fault — not enough water arrived in the allowed time. Most times it's the tap, a kinked hose, or a spray arm you can fix yourself.
- U2 U2 is the DishDrawer 'something's sticking up' alert — an item is taller than the drawer allows. Remove it and press the button to continue.
- A1 A1 on a display-model DishDrawer is a water-supply fault — the machine couldn't fill properly. Check the tap and you'll often be done.
- A3 A3 means the DishDrawer can't drain — the drainage hose or its connection is blocked or kinked. Straightening the hose and clearing the drain usually sorts it.

- A3 A3 on a Fisher & Paykel oven means the door won't unlock after Self Clean finished. Power-cycle and gently press the door to help the latch release.
