Speed Queen Washer Error Codes — Complete List

Speed Queen's front-load washers with a digital display show faults as "Er" followed by two letters — dr for drain, FL for fill, OF for overflow, dU for a door that will not unlock. The user's guide explains each one in its troubleshooting section, and several come with fixes the owner is expected to do, such as cleaning the pump trap.

• Er dr Er dr on a Speed Queen front-load washer means water is still in the washer at the end of the cycle — a drain problem.
• Er FL Er FL on a Speed Queen front-load washer means it has not reached its fill level after 30 minutes of trying.
• Er OF Er OF on a Speed Queen front-load washer means the drum has filled to the overflow level.
• Er dU Er dU on a Speed Queen front-load washer means the control senses that the door will not unlock.
• Er SL Er SL on a Speed Queen front-load washer means the control detected an oversudsing condition during the cycle.
• Er PS Er PS on a Speed Queen front-load washer means the control has detected trouble sensing the water fill level, and the guide says to call for service.
