Whirlpool Range Hood Error Codes — Complete List

Whirlpool vent hoods with a display show two letters, and both are filter reminders rather than faults: F appears after 30 hours of fan use to say the metal grease filter needs washing, and C after 120 hours for the charcoal filter. Each clears by pressing and holding FAN for 3 seconds once the filter is clean.

• C C on a Whirlpool range hood means the charcoal filter is due for washing after 120 hours of fan operation — clean and reactivate it, then press and hold FAN for 3 seconds to reset.
• F F on a Whirlpool range hood means the grease filter is due for washing after 30 hours of fan operation — wash and dry the metal filter, then press and hold FAN for 3 seconds to reset.
